We stopped the insanity too except for the occasional card. When funds are tight we skip even the cards. We’re pretty secure in our relationship and don’t need a lot of stuff to express how we feel. So long as he doesn’t call me by his first wife’s name I’m a happy camper – and he only did that one time ;)

I had my husband stop all the insanity years ago. If I can’t tell that the man loves me by now, no flowers, cards or jewelry is gonna tell me!

We normally do dinner and then go to the local casino. Yeah, I love me a one armed bandit. So, it may not even be ON the 14th, because I like to go to the casino on a Fri or Sat night. And actually this year it’s a Wed so we’re planning on going Sat which is the 18th, I believe.

Do we EVER win? I’m glad you asked. A few times. But nothing that would put our faces on the Winner Hall of Fame. It’s fun though!
